ORLANDO, Fla. — As Disney World brings back more live entertainment, the resort has announced a character debut as well as a few character returns.

Mirabel from Disney’s “Encanto” is coming to Magic Kingdom this month, Disney revealed Wednesday in a post on its official Disney Parks Blog. The character will be added to the park’s Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade on June 26.
The cavalcade, which runs several times each day, also features characters such as Miguel from “Coco,” Nick and Judy from “Zootopia,” and Moana.
Disney also shared that Minnie Mouse will join Mickey Mouse at the Town Square Theater meet-and-greet location on July 6. Both wear the special attire for Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration.
Next month will also mark the return of other popular Disney characters to the parks. On July 10, the Peter Pan and Snow White meet and greets will return to Magic Kingdom.
Over at Hollywood Studios, visitors will be able to meet Star Wars characters Chewbacca, BB-8 and Darth Vader when Star Wars Launch Bay reopens on July 17.
In the blog post, Disney also shared that other character meet and greet will be returning in the coming months, including Aladdin, Jasmine, Merida, and Pooh at Magic Kingdom, as well as Donald Duck and friends at Donald’s Dino-Bash at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
